The composition of colored sand and glass objects is the result of a study of glass working techniques. Glass consists of 70% quartz sand, which became the basis not only for the composition itself, but also for further experiments with the material as a whole, as well as for exploring the theme of interaction with space and various planes within it, going beyond the limits of the classical pictorial canvas.
Physical properties of sand due to mixing of small grains of sand allow to create a variety of color solutions: from bright contrasting combinations to delicate gradient transitions with a certain atmosphere of visual impact.
The incredible tactile appeal of sand makes a special impression on the viewer who seeks direct contact with the material, which raised the question of possible ways of interaction with the viewer within sand color installations.
