Land Art - the artist's treatment of the landscape as a canvas

By creating contrasting installations using coloured sand, the artist consciously changes the arrangement of accents in the natural space: the forest ceases to be a background and turns into a dialogue between man and nature, the subject of which becomes the concepts of space, matter and time.

"GEOMETRIC READINGS"
  • SPACE
the works explore how the sense of space is shaped by the introduction of a sandy colour marker, which shifts accents, sharpening perception and allowing the viewer to read the familiar landscape differently.

  • TIME
the works explore the fragile boundaries of time through natural change. The change of seasons is a fine line, a moment when one state transitions into another. The sand colour marker serves as a point of fixation and marker of the moment. Because of its sensitivity to wind, rain and snow, sand perfectly captures the nature of time itself: yesterday it was still autumn, today it is already winter.

  • MATTER
in these works, the sand colour marker undercolours natural textures and shapes, generating visual fantasies, allowing us to look at familiar objects in a new way. Many of them take on sculptural forms, transforming reality into a fascinating world of visual metaphors.
